Question about walt disney and universal?

I'm planning on going to 2 disney parks and both universal parks with my fiance next year either at the end of march or the beginning of may. I was wondering when would be the best time to go, Because I don't want the springbreak crowds or the summer heat. I was going to go the last week of April but heard that was also part of their peak seasons.
