Going to a theme dance....costume help...mythology?

Uhm its a mythology themed dance and im going with my boyfriend and I need some ideas on who we should be :P i kinda wanna have them be liked connected in some shape or form, we had ideas like hermes and krokus and hercules and pegasus...but any other ideas?
